Anastasia Beverly Hills came out with new colors for spring and of course I had to get the nudes! I could only get my hands on two of them, but I just bought Naked, so I’m waiting for it to come!
Pure Hollywood is my holy grail, so I knew I was going to love the new ones. I bought “Stripped” and “Crush”. They may look a bit similar, but when you swatch them they are completely different. Since I’m really fair, the first one (called “Stripped”) is a little dark on me, but if you have a bit of a tan, this will be the perfect nude for you!
Stripped is a neutral beige nude and Crush is a soft beige (lighter than Dusty Rose). I really like the formula, nothing new there. I would 100% recommend these and I can’t wait to get my hands on the other ones. There’s something for everyone!
The first one is Stripped and the last one is Crush.
Heavy Crown – A muted chocolate with a matte finish that is perfect for creating a bronzed effect for the complexion.
Glowing Still – A pure white iridescent hue that illuminates and highlights the facial structure exquisitely.
Palace Door – A regal peach-toned rose gold shimmer that adds a royal touch of color and freshness to the cheeks.
Finishes: Matte // Satin // Pearl
It’s supposed to be flattering for all skintones, which is a huge plus. The colors couldn’t be more perfect. All 3 are VERY soft and feels very expensive. I honestly didn’t expect them to be so creamy and nice. Zoeva has quickly become one of my all time favorite brands.
The blush is everything I’ve been looking for. It looks so beautiful and glowy on the skin and I’m just obsessed with the color. I really love the highlight as well. So pigmented and you don’t need a lot. The bronzer is perfect. Not too orange, and us pale girls can actually wear it. I have nothing bad to say about these at all. This palette will be used every single day.
Here are the swatches. Left to right: Blush, highligher and bronzer.
A while ago Zoeva came out with a bunch of different blush palettes. Zoeva is one of my favorite brands ever, so of course I had to get my hands on them. This one is the Pink Spectrum Blush Palette, perfect for my skin tone! Haven’t heard one bad review, which I completely understand now that I’ve tried it. It. Is. Insane. Seriously. When I swatched it, I couldn’t even control myself. This is the most pigmented and soft blushes I’ve ever tried. It also comes in coral and nude. Something for everyone. I was really blown away by this.
Let’s talk about the packaging. Just as flawless as the blushes. I’m so impressed.
It changes colors when you move it around.
Now for the swatches. Left to right: PK030, PK010, PK040, PK020.
If you don’t already own this palette, you seriously need to go out and buy it! It’s only $20.00. (I paid 146 DK). I can’t put this palette down, I use it every single day! Hope you guys enjoyed this review 🙂
Sleek Makeup came out with a new cream contour kit and I feel like we need a good contour kit from the drugstore, like something with GOOD quality. I heard so many positive things about this kit, so I decided to buy it right away. It comes in 3 different shades: light, medium and dark. Huge plus! It retails for $16,49 (in DK I bought it for 125 kr).
Of course I bought mine in light. I love the packaging, super SLEEK – seriously!
It looks expensive and high end, which I love. The cream contour colors are all so easy to blend, very smooth and buttery. I was really surprised, not many drugstore brands have this good quality. If you don’t want to buy the more expensive one from Anastasia Beverly Hills, this would be an amazing option.
Here are the swatches. It was hard to pick up how good and pigmented they are, so I’m sorry for that.
This would be ideal for beginners, you don’t have to blend the product that much so it’s easy to work with!
This is my second time to receive the beautybox. In my first blog post about it (read here), I was really happy about it and I’ve been using the products I got, every single day, so I was really excited to get another one. I ordered mine from www.lookfantastic.dk but there’s also a www.lookfantastic.com, so everyone can get their hands on it!
This box is called #LFBLOOMS! Perfect theme for spring. Can we just talk about how beautiful this is? I’m SO impressed. I keep them to decor and storage, I love this one just as much as the last one!
They get bonus points for these magazines!
There were so many products this time. I couldn’t get them all in one picture, so I split it up. Again – impressed!
So here’s the first products! I can’t find anything about the vitamins, maybe that one was just an extra. Nice touch. There was no makeup this time (the only sad thing about this box).
The one after the vitamins is Rituals Miracle Hand Scrub: it’s infused with nourishing oils which deeply condition and nourish to leave behind healthy and glowing skin. With it’s ability to restore moisture and balance to dry and damaged hands, this scrub really deserves it’s “Miracle” title. It also has a wonderful smell!
Tanworx Tan Maintainer: it’s enriched with carrot, coconut and sunflower oils which are great for hydrating the skin. This cream is the perfect base for fake tan.
Bloom And Blossom Bath & Shower Gel: free from parabens, sulfates and synthetic fragrance, this shower gel will leave your skin feeling beautiful and looking healthy. It’s infused with organic cucumber extracts and Vitamin E, which will nourish your skin. It’s also safe to use throughout pregnancy and motherhood due to it’s natural and safe ingredients!
Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish: it will exfoliate away dead skin cells and product build up to reveal smooth and glowing skin.
Elmis British Botanical Hand And Nail Butter: This luxurious hand cream has been made with the soothing essential oils of Chamomile and Lavender to calm your mood, and Geranium and Palmarosa to promote happiness and well-being. Shea Butter rehydrates your skin to leave it feeling soft and replenished.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask: infused with Argan, Avocado, Rosehip and Sweet Almond Oils, alongside Vitamins A, B5, D and E, this organic mask will leave your hair feeling super soft and replenished. The unique blend of ingredients promotes healthy looking hair and shine, improves it’s elasticity and strength.
That was it! Very cool products, I do hope next time there will be makeup 😉
GUYS! It finally happened. I am so late, but this was impossible for me to get my hands on, because I live in Denmark. I’m super excited and can barely write this blog post. Okay pull it together Maria!
I love Too Faced and their products, so I expected to love this palette. It obviously smells like chocolate, and it’s super fun and girly. I can’t even put it away, because it’s so cute! Chocolate Bon Bons is the third palette in their bestselling Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection. There is 14 brand new shades plus 2 cult favorites. It retails for $49.00. I might as well say this now: the eyeshadows are super soft, buttery and pigmented. Typical Too Faced, they rarely disappoints. They are so easy to work with and I can already say that this palette is one of the best ones I own. And I own A LOT.
There were a few shades that I looked at and was like “I’m never going to use those!”. But then I swatched them and they are gorgeous. I actually really like them and it really surprised me. What I really love about this palette: you get your perfect neutrals but you also get some colorful ones. There’s something for everyone.
A close-up of the shades. So beautiful!
For the swatches, I couldn’t have all of them on one arm, so that’s why there’s a few pictures. I also couldn’t get the text with the names on them, so I’m really sorry about that.
From right to left: Almond Truffle, Cashew Chew, Dark Truffle, Satin Sheets, Cotton Candy, Pecan Praline, Café Au Lait, Totally Fetch, Sprinkles, Bordeaux, Earl Grey. The last two (Bordeaux, Earl Grey) I accidentally messed up, so just ignore them in this picture. ↴

And a close-up of the last ones. From right to left: Bordeaux, Earl Grey and after Earl Grey I added Molasses Chip. ↴
And these are the last one! From right to left: Mocha, Malted, Black Currant, Divinity. ↴
If any of these look patchy, it is MY fault. I was shaking and had a hard time, just trust me when I say these eyeshadows are my all time favorites and they look so good on the lid. I have no complains at all.
