Hi my loves! Sooo I’ve had these products for a while, but I’ve only tried a few of them and I’ve been wanting to show you guys because they’re really popular at the moment. I did a poll on Twitter (@mariamaadsen), asking if you’d want to see a haul and most of you did – so here it is! If there’s anything you want an in-depth review on, feel free to leave a comment! I’ll gladly do it 🙂
So where do I even start?
I got this crazy beautiful marble makeup bag – OH MY GOD. I’m obsessed. I love everything marble and the fact that it’s marble AND rose gold = my two favorite things. I will never use anything else I swear. It’s big, but not too big, it’s actually the perfect size and you can clean it if you get it dirty. It has a nice texture, I can’t really describe it, you have to feel it for yourself but it’s so nice! It’s just everything I’ve ever wanted.
Then I got the insanely popular Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick, if you haven’t heard of it, where have you been girl?! Of course I had to try it. I loooove full coverage foundations and Hourglass. I’ve tried it a few times and I REALLY like it! The shade matches me perfectly which is rare and it’s honestly so amazing.
Let’s talk about the Lorac Mega Pro 3. You guys know how crazy I got when I got my hands on the Lorac Pro 3 … Yeah you should’ve seen me when I got this. I didn’t get the last two, so this was seriously important to me. Plus this one is right up my alley. I love every single color, I can’t even begin to describe it! It comes in white and rose gold packaging, it’s limited edition and it’s almost impossible to get. If only you knew what I went through .. Wow. But it was worth it – favorite palette I own! And tbh, it’s so much prettier in real life. The pictures don’t do it justice, at all.
I finally got to try some of the Dose of Colors brushes. They aren’t really that new, but I heard a lot of good things aaaand they’re white and gold!! Do you sense a theme? Told you I was obsessed. Anyway, they are pretty expensive, so I got these when they were on sale and I saved a lot of money. Honestly .. They’re great, but I have brushes I love more. And I don’t think they’re worth the price tag. There’s not really anything wrong with them, I’m just underwhelmed, I expected more from all the hype and I have brushes that are way softer. I love the shape of them though! And of course I’ll still use them.
The Pür Cosmetics HydraGel Lift changed everything. You put it on before your makeup, it hydrates the lid and under eye for an instant brighter, firmer, lifted look while blurring imperfections and priming for concealer application. I can’t even begin to explain this. The way it feels is just .. I was speechless. It’s better than an eye cream. I had to put it on my mom and she freaked out the way I did. If could put this on all day, I would. YOU NEED THIS. It’s affordable and really cute.
Last but not least, Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks in the shades “Celebrity Skin”, “I’m Nude” and “Mannequin”. They’re all super comfortable on the lips and they last a really long time. Of course I got all of the nudes haha!
That was it for now. Remember to let me know if you want a review on anything!
Hi guys! Wet n wild is killing it lately, they have released so many amazing high quality products, and I’m loving them all. I got 3 products I want to talk about today. I haven’t been able to get this blog post out before now, so yes these products aren’t brand new, but it isn’t that long ago that they came out, so I wanted to post this anyway.
These powders are so finely milled, they feel very luxurious to be honest and they’re totally dupes for the Marc Jacob’s ones! You also get A LOT of product, so it will take a while to hit pan. Go Wet n Wild!
The eyeshadow palette is called “Bare and Beautiful” and I really love it. Super pigmented and super easy to blend! I love Wet n Wild’s eyeshadows. My favorite palette is Walking On Eggshells and then this new one definitely comes second! I mean look at the swatches .. Holy pigment!
Here’s the eyeshadow palette swatches:
Megaglo contouring palette in “Caramel Toffee” swatches:
Megaglo contouring palette in “Dulce De Leche” swatches:
The contour shades looks similar but trust me, in real life they are so different!
If you have light skin I would recommend Dulce De Leche, I personally like to mix and match, I looove the yellow powder for under the eyes and then I use the contour shade from Dulce De Leche. Caramel Toffee is the darkest one of the two 🙂
If you feel like the colors are too warm to use as contour, just use them as bronzer – these are truly perfect for anything!
Hope you guys enjoyed today’s blog post! Let me know if you’re getting some of these products xo
Hi loves! I recently bought a bunch of things from Morphe. It started with the news of the new 35O Matte + Shimmer palettes. You all know I love the original, so of course I had to have some of the new ones. Then I got the news that Morphe’s most popular brush collection (the Elite collection) was going to be gone FOREVER. (EDIT: they are releasing new ones, that are improved and even better!) So I panicked and bought all of the ones I’ve wanted for so long but hadn’t gotten around to buy. A lot of them are sold out, so it was hard, but I managed to get my hands on some.
The brushes from left to right: E5 (perfect for contouring), E59 (perfect for bronzing), E27 (such a good crease brush, MannyMUA uses this all the time), E23 (a smaller version), G8 (so good for blush, setting powder, and contouring) and G20 (the perfect brush to pack on shadow, especially glitter/shimmer). These are truly my new favorites, they’re SO good and the Elite and Gun Metal collections are the only brushes that I like from Morphe. Top quality!
To the left is the E27 and to the right is the E23
When it comes to the 35Om, there’s not much to talk about – it’s the same palette but with all mattes. They’re so beautiful and it’s really nice to have this version too. I kinda want the shimmer one as well, because I know it’s insanely pretty, but it just feels wrong to have 3 palettes of the same colors, especially because I already own so much makeup and have so many palettes that I need to use more. So I’m trying to be wise and not let the hoarder in me win!
As I said, the Elite collection will be gone soon and you will not be able to purchase them anymore. These are Morphe’s most popular and best quality brushes, so they’re honestly worth to get.
I have been busier than ever, but still manage to find time to feed my shopaholic needs. And that’s why I’ve gotten a bunch of things that I’ve been posting on Instagram (@beautybymadsen) but haven’t gotten around to do a blog post on. So I think it’s finally time!
I got 4 Colourpop liquid lipsticks. They all look the same, but I promise you they’re not! I’ll show you when we get to the swatches haha. I love Colourpop and all of their products, so there’s not much to go over, thumbs up for these gorgeous lippies!
I got the colors Littlestitious (ultra satin), Midi (ultra matte), Shimmy (ultra matte) and Vice (ultra matte).
Left to right: Vice, Shimmy, Midi and Littlestitious (sorry for the ugly swatches)
Finally I got my hands on the lip scrub from Jeffree Star in Strawberry Gum. It’s always sold out! I don’t use any other lip scrub, this is the BEST. You can actually eat it – and yes you heard right. Tastes soooo good and you don’t have to fear getting it in your mouth. It’s totally safe. This is my holy grail and I can’t live without.
I bought my first liquid lipstick from Violet Voss. They’re pretty popular so I was excited. Sadly, I hated it. The color is terrible (at least on me) and the formula .. Yikes. Patchy, streaky and not cute. I’m hoping it’s just this color and maybe the other ons are better .. But I will not be using this at all.
The color is “Slayed”.
I got these gems from Jordana. They are SO underrated because holy s***. They’re liquid eyeshadows and beyond beautiful. If you need to get ready quickly just put it on your lid and you’re good to go.
I also bought the Elf Bronzer palette and have been using it constantly since I got it. This is perfect for pale girls like me, the colors are beautiful. You do have to build it up, they’re not overly pigmented but that’s okay with me, that way you don’t put too much on your face at once. You get mattes and shimmers, there’s something for everyone. You can’t go wrong with this affordable palette.
A while go Urban Decay came out with new highlighters in 3 different colors. I bought the color Sin and it’s my new holy grail. You NEED this. Been using this 24/7, and nothing compares. So pigmented, buttery and smooth. It looks beautiful on the skin.
Smashbox is one of my favorite makeup brands, they make the most beautiful and pigmented makeup. I’ve been testing all of these products and finally have an opinion on them. Smashbox is in the high end category, so their products are a bit pricey – but you get something for your money, I promise. Spoiler: I have yet to be disappointed.
All of the products are from www.smashbox.dk, definitely make sure to check it out (or .com if you’re not from Denmark), they have so many amazing products.
Let’s start with the palette. This is genius, you get 3 brow products, contour/bronzer and highlight products, and a lot of eyeshadows. So convenient. This is the perfect every day palette. I was afraid that the face products would be too dark for my skin tone, but they matched perfectly. Do NOT judge it when you look at it. Do not take this for granted. It may look like it’s not something you really need in your life, but once you swatch everything … WOW. I liked it, but after that I fell in love. The shades are absolutely perfect, smooth and insanely pigmented. Now there is some fall out because of how pigmented they are, but it doesn’t really bother me. Just tap the excess off and you’ll be good to go.
I know Smashbox had a palette where the shadows weren’t on point and not that pigmented, but that’s not the case with this one.
You can also use the brow & face products as eyeshadow!
I also really liked the brush that comes with it. Normally I always throw them out, but this is a keeper.
To the left, you have 3 brow products and then you have the bronzer, contour, under eye setting powder and highlight. The highlighter is a hidden gem, it’s beyond amazing! I had my ABH kit ready to mix, because normally these types of highlighters sucks, but I didn’t even have to use it. It’s so good!
Here’s the shadows. The perfect colors for me. They may look a bit boring, but trust me: once you swatch them or put them on your lid, they are pure perfection and you will die. And A+ for the transition shade.
I also got the Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights in the color Baked Starblush. I always wanted to try this, so I was excited to test it out. It’s a disc of five baked, glimmering shades to bring a soft veil of shimmer to the complexion. You can use it as highlighter, blush and even eyeshadow. I like to swirl them all together and put it on my cheeks. Super pretty!
Now for the lip products! Let’s start with the lip liners. These are the Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liners. The light pink color is called “Frenchie” and the nude is called “Nude Fair”. Both super beautiful colors, right up my alley! They go on smooth and creamy and they last all day. Buy them here:
I got the cream lipstick in “Pretty Social”. These vitamin-fortified cream colors do not settle unevenly on the lips or dry out. Their moisturizing, satin-smooth formula softens and protects lips with shea butter and vitamins C and E. LOVE! I really love the formula, it looks beautiful on the lips and goes on really smooth.
EXCUSE THE CAT HAIR. With two cats they’re everywhere. (cat ladies, you feel me?)
Here I’m wearing the lipliner “Frenchie” and the lipstick “Pretty Social”
The last one is the Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer. It’s been talked about a lot and people wondered if it actually works. It’s a gel that transforms any cream lipstick and creates a velvety-matte finish. I tried it on the cream lipstick I talked about before and yes it does work. This is perfect for makeup artists and even regular makeup lovers at home. It quickly became a trend to have matte lipsticks, now everything is matte. So if you have a favorite cream lipstick that you wish was matte – this is the perfect tool.

And that’s it! I hope you guys liked it. I will 100% recommend everything and advice you to check out Smashbox Cosmetics if you haven’t already!
This post is sponsored by Smashbox, I received free products for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
Hi my loves! Clinique was so generous to send me ALL of these goodies. I just want to take a moment to tell you guys how much I love you. One of my biggest dreams came true – Clinique has been one of my favorites brands for years and being able to work with them is just so incredible and it’s all because of you guys. Your support means everything to me, so thank you for always reading my blog and being there for me. Without you, this wouldn’t be possible!
So I got a bunch of things, makeup AND skincare! Let’s start with this popular foundation that everyone on Youtube are talking about right now! This is the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer. This is for all skin types, it’s full coverage and oil-free! It’s lightweight, moisturizing and even though it’s full coverage, it won’t clog your pores, which is a HUGE plus for me. Mine is in the color “Alabaster” and it’s bit too dark for me, but I just mix it with a foundation mixer and I’m good to go! So I’ve been testing this and it says it lasts for 12-hours and that’s 100% true. It stays put, even through sweat and humidity – one of the reasons why this is my new favorite. Perfect for the summer time. You can also use this for concealer, you basically have 2 products in one which is genius. I find that it applies the best with a beauty blender.
NOTE: Due to the rich pigment level that enhances this flawless coverage makeup, shades may appear deeper when first applied – and it’s suggested to choose a shade lighter than what you would normally go for.
265 kr – $27.00.

THE NEXT COUPLE OF THINGS YOU CAN GET IN A SET HERE.
Next thing I want to talk about is the Clinique Superprimer Face Primer. It’s lightweight, oil-free primer that helps create a smooth, even canvas for foundation. There’s a Superprimer for redness, dullness, discoloration, and sallowness. This one is the Universal Superprimer, which preps skin beautifully for makeup. It is translucent and you can even wear it alone. I really like this one, and my foundation does stay on all day! I definitely recommend it.
Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm is perfect for the lips. I got it in the color “04 Mega Melon” which is a sheer peachy pink. It’s so nourishing and moisturizing and gives a hint of soft shine. I love lip balms with a bit of color, it makes your lips look amazing and healthy. So much more fun than a plain white balm! You don’t have to sharpen it, simply swivel up to reveal more of it. This will last you forever!
A product that looks a bit like the lip balm, is the Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in the color 02 lots o’ latte. It’s a sheer, creamy color – the perfect base for eyeshadow or you can wear it alone if you want to get ready super quick! This doesn’t need sharpening either! There’s tons of colors to choose from to make your eyes pop. This specific color I can’t find on the website, maybe it’s only a part of the set, but you can find the other colors down below.
175 kr – $17.00.

I also tested the Clinique High Impact Mascara in black. What it’s supposed to do: “Instantly volumizes, lengthens, and defines each and every lash”. So is it true? YES! Guys it’s so hard for me to find mascaras that I like, so I was a bit nervous for this one, but I liked it right away. My lashes look amazing, it doesn’t clump or smudge and I just know that I will be using this every day. The wand makes it easy to apply, it’s not too thick or too thin and it’s easy to control, A+. Trust me when I say you need this in your life.
Clinique Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palette is beyond amazing. I only use it as blush, and I have it in the color “Defining Nectars”. I need to go buy the other shades as well, because wow! It blends and build beautifully. You can use them separately to colour, contour, highlight or do as I did – use them as blush. You can also swirl them together for a quick easy glow, so many options which I love. It is also long-wearing, oil-free!
Lastly for the makeup section is the Clinique Pop Lip Colour and Primer. Can I just say that Clinique has one of the BEST lipsticks, I want them all! I got the color 04 Beige Pop. It’s SO comfortable, pigmented, smooth and creamy. It’s a lightweight formula that lasts for hours. It’s a satin finish and the color is a light, pinkish nude creme – an every day shade. This is the perfect color for me, it’s hard to find pretty nudes for my skin tone, but this is perfect. I’m so in love you guys! Mac, go home (did I just really say that?)
I’m always looking for the perfect moisturizer, I’m very picky. I tried the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, it comes in amazing light pink packaging and it looks so pretty! It’s a multitasking, lightweight cream-gel that provides up to 24 hours of soothing hydration. It feels so luxurious and amazing on the skin. It immediately cools and refreshes for a soft, smooth complexion. My skin is insanely dry and I’m not lying when I say this: after the first few times I tried it, I could feel a huge difference. My skin got so smooth and hydrated and it feels completely new. This will be on the top shelf, it’s my new go-to cream for sure. It sinks extremely fast into the skin, so you don’t get that annoying sticky feeling – I HATE it. Huge bonus, I now swear by this.
Then there’s the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum. I hate my pores and I buy everything that can make them smaller – skincare, primers, you name it. This product contains the Pore Resurfacing Complex, which quickly and gently clears out debris and rough flakes. Over time, skin creates stronger supports for a tighter, smoother, younger look. It’s oil-free and ideal for all skin types! They say after 2 weeks up to 58% of the pores will seem smaller. I haven’t been able to try it for that long yet, but I will keep you guys updated! So far I really like it. The best pore-product I’ve used, no doubt.
Last but not least, Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream. I’ve been looking for something like this forever, I heard so many good things about this product, so I had to try it. I needed something that would brighten, hydrate and take care of my under eyes, because that’s super important. Its cool touch and de-puffing tip help keep eyes looking fresh while smoothing the way for makeup. If you suffer from stress, fatigue, and lack of sleep this will help you right away. I noticed a difference after the first time I used it! A little goes a long way and it will last you for a really long time. The bags under my eyes disappeared and my makeup looks so much better. This is a must have.
195 kr – $26.50.

Conclusion: there’s not one product that I didn’t like. This is my 100% honest opinion – you know I would never ever lie to you. I completely fell in love and there’s a reason why Clinique is one of my all time favorite brands. Their packaging is just amazing, every single product looks so good, you really want to show it off. I’m really surprised that I liked everything, and it just left me wanting more, so there’s no doubt that I will have to go and buy more, there’s still so many products I want to try.
This post is sponsored by Clinique, I received free products for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
Hi my loves. I still have a lot of makeup on the way, but I thought I’d show you some of the things that already arrived. I think this time I will do a haul, showing you what I got and then do another blog post with review and swatches. That way I get to try out the products a lot more and get you a full detailed review instead. Hope that’s okay with you guys!
In this little haul I got some stuff from Makeup Revolution and Wet n Wild. Some things I’ve been looking at for a while now and finally just went ahead and bought them!
I’ve been really into contour/cream contour/bronzing – something I’ve always done but for some reason I’m EXTRA into it, actually rather obsessed.
I knew I would love these two contour kits from Makeup Revolution. I bought the powder version and the cream version:
This is what the packaging look like. It gets dirty right away, so don’t mind that.
Super sleek, and not cheap looking at all. Makeup Revolution is so affordable but always has the most amazing packaging – and product. Their quality is crazy good!
I’m just in love and can’t wait to play around.
Even the boxes are beautiful!
I also got this from Makeup Revolution! A bronzer, a highlight and a blush palette in Ultra Fair.
Look at that blush! Wow. It has some golden shimmer to it, which I love.
I swatched all of the products and they are VERY pigmented and creamy, so it looks promising! I will give you guys an update when I’ve tried everything and have an opinion 🙂
Then I got the new Wet n Wild brushes! Heard soooo many good things. I normally stay away from drugstore brushes to be honest, but these were so affordable, cute and well liked. I started out with 3. A fan brush, a crease brush and a shadow brush. They are all VERY soft, more than you’d expect. They pick up product perfectly and I’m very satisfied. I need more!
Left to right: Fan brush, shadow brush and crease brush.
I don’t have a close-up of the shadow brush, my camera decided to work against me.
