Hi my loves! I bought my first Lime Crime product and it just happened to be a palette from their most popular line – venus palettes. I don’t have any of the other ones, the colors never spoke to me. But when I saw the Venus III, my heart stopped. I knew I had to have it! It’s also not just another neutral palette, which I love. I’m getting bored!

A new incarnation of Lime Crime’s ardently adored Venus Palette has arrived – and it’s a riot of rapturous lilac, rose gold and mauve shades, anchored by earthy browns. The ultra-buttery formula sweeps on richly pigmented color that won’t fade or fall out, letting you create make up masterpieces befitting Botticelli himself. With eight matte, shimmering matte, glowing and metallic shades, this dreamy edit is eye-deal for reinvigorating your arsenal, whatever the season.I know Lime Crime’s eyeshadows are very popular and I’ve head so many amazing things about the formula. The palette is housed in a beautiful mirrored, dreamy lavender and rose gold box, embossed with kitschy depiction of Venus herself. In a sea of nude palettes, Venus III emerges to offer eight richly pigmented, vibrant and glamorous shades, including rapturous lilac, rose gold, mauve and earthy brown tones. The finishes range from buttery matte to metallic, via luminous ‘glow’ and classic metallic effects. They can be worn alone or layered flawlessly on-trend look with a sophisticated, painterly finish.

I’ve worn so many looks with this, which surprised me. When I looked at it, I thought I was going to be limited, but it proved me wrong. The shade Heavenly is so weird. It’s not fully opaque, so I had to layer it on another shadow, or else you could see through it. I also had to use a glitter primer,  it’s more of a topper with glitter sparkles,  in my opinion. The shade in the pan is not the shade that you get on the lids, I don’t have anything like this in my collection. I honestly don’t know how to feel about it. It’s pretty though!

The packaging is STUNNING. I have never seen anything this pretty. I love that you can create a wearable neutral look or really step it up and do something fun.The shades:
